Jagga Jasoos Box Office Collection Day 6: Ranbir-Katrina starrer crosses 40 crore mark

Anurag Basu’s directorial venture ‘Jagga Jasoos’ featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead roles released on July 14 has not been impressive at the box office. After six days of release, the Ranbir-Katrina starrer has made a sum of Rs 40 crores at the box office. Jagga Jasoos managed to do business of over Rs 24 crores over the weekend and saw a big dip following the weekend.

Here’s day-to-day breakdown of Jagg Jasoos Box Office collection:

Day 1 – July 14 – Rs 8.57 crore

Day 2 – July 15 – Rs 11.53 crore

Day 3 – July 16 – Rs 13.07 crore

Day 4 – July 17 – Rs 4.05 crore

Day 5 – July 18 – Rs 3.48 crore

Day 6 - July 19 - Rs 3.05 crore

 

Jagga Jasoos received mixed reviews from the critics and audience as well. However, Several celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan reviewed positively and said, "Just saw Jagga Jasoos could not resist telling Anurag what a delightful, innovative, well executed film it was ; a joy to watch’’.

Jagga Jasoos marks the third time that the trio Anurag Basu, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif had joined forces together, after Rajneeti and Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani. Anurag and Ranbir had tasted success earlier together as well for ‘Barfi’ which also featured Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz.

Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is busy shooting for Sanjay Dutt biopic while Katrina Kaif is working along Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan for Thugs of Hindostan.
