Star kid Janhvi Kapoor's Bollywood debut Dhadhak has been one of the most talked about movies of 2018. The movie will not just be a launching platform for Janhvi but also for Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khattar.
And while everyone is quite excited to see Janhvi on the big screen the latest buzz is that Dhadak might be postponed for release.
Apparently, the postpone will be due to the sudden demise of veteran actress Sridevi, who breathed her last on February 24 in Dubai.
According to the media reports, Sridevi's death has come as a major setback for Janhvi and Dhadak producer Karan Johar wants to give her time to recover from her loss.
As per a report published in Asian Age, Johar has asked his team to go slow with Janhvi given her emotional state.
Besides, KJo wants Dhadak to stand true on Sridevi's expectation so that the late actress can be proud of her daughter's debut.
"Karan was close to Sridevi; he is also close to Janhvi now. He understands that she will not be in a position to work for a while. He has even instructed the team to take it easy with her. Having said that, Karan wants it to be a film that Sridevi would have been very proud of," a source was quoted saying to Asian Age.
Although Janhvi has begun shooting for the movie, we wonder if Dhadak will release on the scheduled date in July or will be postponed.
