Grapevines are buzzing with the news that Kannada actor Updenra will join the arena of politics. Reports suggest that he will likely join Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). He is expected to meet the party chief Amit Shah, who is on a visit to Bengaluru.
The actor recently has been very vocal on several issues like corruption, India-China border issues and the IT raid which took place on minster DK Shivakumar. He has been giving major hints of entering politics.
The Sandalwood actor uploaded an audio clip on Friday where he said that he is ready to take the responsibility and ensure that representatives of the people work honestly. The 'Real star' conveyed that he can launch his own political party.
The actor has portrayed roles in movies where he fights against the muscle and money power. He is now living up to his on-screen image.
If the report about him joining BJP turns out to be true, then he will be latest addition to the list of actors who have joined the party. Actors like Tara Anruradha, Gandesha nd Malavika Avinash have already joined the party.
