Indian film industry is still recovering from the death of iconic actor Shashi Kapoor, who passed away on December 4 due to prolonged kidney ailment.
Many Bollywood celebs attended his funeral to pay their last respects to the star while some expressed their grief over the social media platforms.
‘Chikni Chameli’ Katrina Kaif who once dated Ranbir Kapoor and have also met Shashi Kapoor at his residence in the year 2015 shared a heartfelt message for the late actor.
She wrote, "Immortalising an era of classic cinema, a legend leaves us with precious memories. Shashiji was and will always be an icon for all of us and generations to come... His impactful contribution to cinema will be cherished forever #RIPShashiKapoor’’.
Shashi Kapoor has acted in several notable films including Suhaag, Deewar, Kabhi Kabhi, Namak Halal and many more. He was married to Jennifer Kendal and have three children Kunal, Sanjana and Karan.
It is also said that Sashi was devastated when his wife Jennifer left this world due to colon cancer in the year 1984.
