Television Actress Ankita Lokhande who was last seen romancing 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' fame Sushant Singh Rajput in the much loved hindi television soap 'Pavitra Rishta', is at present gearing up for her upcoming Bollywood debut.

The 'Pavitra Rishta' fame is all set to be featured in kangana Ranaut's forthcomig flick 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi'. In the movie Ankita will essay the character of Jhalkaribai, who is considered to be one of the greatest heroes of the Indian history.

Talking about her participation in the film the actress said, "I'd never heard of her before, not many have, but Jhalkaribai was one of the greatest heroes of our proud history. I'm honoured that I'll be telling her story to the world, fighting alongside Kangana’s Rani Laxmibai"

"I am indebted to Kamal sir for this challenging role in a big – budget film scripted by Baahubali scriptwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad alongside a National-award winning actress like Kangana who exudes power and is an inspiration to all women. I am looking forward to learning from her once we start shooting in August," she added.

The actress was reportedly in a relationship with 'Sudh Deshi Romance' star Sushant Singh Rajput, though both the stars had parted their ways a couple of months back.

Speculations are also high that, Sushant is at present dating her 'Raabta' co-star Kriti Sanon and have been spotted and clicked together hand in hand at several places.

On the workfront, Kangana Ranaut, who was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's war drama 'Rangoon', is also busy shooting her another upcoming venture 'Simran'  

While 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' is currently scheduled to release on 27th April, 2018, 'Simran' is all set to hit the screens on 15th September 2017.
