Arjun Kapoor, who was last seen in Anees Bazmee's 'Mubarakan', has asserted that he is quite happy with the way his movie has fared at the box office. 'Mubarakan' had made a collection of Rs 46.04 crore since its release.
Talking about the same, Arjun stated that there key idea was to make a family entertainer which will make the audience smile and he is glad 'Mubarakan' did succeed in entertaining people.
"I am really happy. The whole idea of doing this film was to make a family entertainer and to know that so many people are going to watch it with their families, friends and relatives and actually going back again to watch it because it is making them smile and laugh... It just makes me happy," Arjun told in an interview.
The 'Ishaqzaade' actor further asserted that just like any other actor, he too had a pressure on him that people enjoy his movie.
"Obviously you want your producers to make money, you want people to enjoy the film, you want your films to be appreciated and that pressure is always there, but the film you do after this one always gets as much more."
"You want to push the envelope, please more people and connect with more people that pressure is always there that the next film you do is different and connects with the masses. So that pressure is there," he said.
Interestingly, 'Mubarakan' was the first time when Arjun shared the screen space with his uncle Anil and their commendable chemistry did won a lot of appreciation.
Also starring Athiya Shetty and Ileana D'Cruz in key roles, 'Mubarakan' was released on 28th July this year.
