Music composers Salim and Sulaiman who have churned out several hits together have dedicated their new song to all the soldiers of the country. The new song titled ‘Mera Desh Hi Dharam’ has been released today. Salim Merchant’s close friend Sandeep Srtivastava has penned downed the lyrics of the song.
Salim was quoted as saying by ANI that it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who suggested the idea to compose this song to celebrate 70 years of independence. The musical duo liked the suggestion and hence decided to release it on Independence Day.
Sulaiman told the agency that most of the songs have been made for India but songs for army men were never made.
The new song has been dedicated to the all soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for the country. The song is not only beautifully written but also well composed. It will truly incite a feeling of patriotism inside you.
Bollywood has made many movies based on patriotism over the years, be it 'Rang De Basanti' or 'Airlift'. Even many of the Bollywood songs celebrate the feeling of patriotrim and love for India.
