'Newton', featuring National Award-winning actor Rajkumar Rao which has been one of the most anticipated films of the year has finally released its very first poster on micro blogging site twitter.
Famous filmmaker Hansal Mehta on Tuesday took to twitter to share the first look of the Rajkumar starrer.
Sharing the poster Mehta wrote, "And the highly acclaimed #Newton releases on August 18. With another stellar act by the unstoppable @RajkummarRao"
In the poster the legendary actor has been seen running with an EVM machine in his hand and one can notice a weird expression in his face.
In the movie Rajkumar will be seen essaying the character of Newton Kumar, a rookie government clerk sent on election duty to a naxal-controlled town in the conflict-ridden jungles of Chhattisgarh, India.
Faced with the apathy of security forces and the looming fear of guerrilla attacks by communist rebels, he tries his best to conduct free and fair voting despite the odds stacked against him.

Earlier, in February the Amit Masurkar film had already hit the screen at the Berlin International Film Festival 2017.
It was not only a mere screening just only for the sake of screening, the 32 year old 'Aligarh' fame has been showered with praises and good wishes throughout the world.
The movie was selected in the International Forum of New Cinema and was screened on February 10 at the Zoo Palast one of the oldest and most prestigious venues of the Berlinale, where it received a standing ovation too.

Also starring Pankaj Tripathy, Anjali Patil, Raghuvir Yadav and Sanjay Mishra the political black comedy is all set to release on 18th August 2017.
