Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat has taken over the box office with a storm ever since it has hit the theatres in January.
And ever after three weeks of release, Padmaavat continues to be unstoppable. The period drama has crossed Rs 250 crore mark and is now inching towards Rs 300 crore mark.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the box office report of Padmaavat.
He tweeted, "#Padmaavat is UNSTOPPABLE.. [Week 3] Fri 3.50 cr, Sat 6.30 cr, Sun 8 cr, Mon 3.20 cr, Tue 3.75 cr. Total: ₹ 260.75 cr. India biz."

Indeed, the commendable box office collections have come as a major relief for the entire team as Padmaavat was mired with controversies since its inception.
Talking about the box office success of the movie, Deepika had stated that 'it is not over yet'. She even added, "The last three days have been so overwhelming that nothing else matters. I am in a mood to celebrate. I am grateful for all the love and support".
The period drama is based on the 16th century epic Padmavat by poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi. The Sena has alleged that it distorts history and undermines Rajput valor - claims denied by the filmmakers.
