The producers of 'Padmvati' has rubbished the reports of delay in the release of the movie.
It was reported that 'Padmavati' release has been postponed to next year after the sets of the movie were attacked and vandalised twice lately.
The sets were attacked in Rajasthan and Kolhapur respectively which had stalled the shooting of the movie.
However, Viacom 18, one of the producers cleared the air with an official statement saying, "'Padmavati' is not postponed. Not shifting to 2018 either. It will release on November 17, 2017."
Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie happens to be based on Rajput Princess 'Padmavati' where Deepika Padukone will be seen in the titular role.
Besides Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh along with Ranveer Singh who will essay the role of antagonist Allauddin Khilji.
