Generally, Monday mornings come with a sense of laziness and tiredness for people but this time not for Shahid Kapoor fans. The Haider star captivated the day of his fans by sharing the first look of his character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’.

Bestowing a grin to all his fans on Monday morning, actor Shahid Kapoor stunned them by sharing first look of his character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’.

In one of the picture, Shahid can be seen in his bearded version giving intense and royal look and in other pic he is standing unbowed in the middle of a battle field with few scars.

 

Last week, Female lead of ‘Padmavati’ Deepika Padukone also shared her first look of the flick in which she was wearing a royal red outfit along with heavy Rajasthani jewellery.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Padmavati’ also stars Ranveer Singh in lead role and Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh in key roles.

In ‘Padmavati’, Deepika is playing the role of Rani Padmavati and Shahid is portraying the role of her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. And, Ranveer plays Alauddin Khilji in the period drama.

The movie has been controversial since its inception, as Karni Sena has been opposing and protesting against the makers of the flick citing distortion of original facts

This would the third time when Deepika Padukone , Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has collaborated for a venture. Before this, they had been part of two successful projects including Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani.

‘Padmavati’ is slated to release on December 1.
