Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra who is one of the first Indian stars to achieve success in the arena of Hollywood on Saturday paid an emotional tribute to late father Ashok Chopra.

It was the fourth death anniversary of Priyanka's late father Ashok and a bunch of heartfelt messages poured in on social networking sites.

Giving response to all those wishes the 'Baywatch' actress took to twitter and shared her heart out with fans and followers.

Being emotional Priyanka wrote, "Thank u to all for your wishes. 4 years today. Some things will always hurt."

Ashok Chopra, a Lieutenant Colonel by profession breathed his last in the year 2013 after a prolonged battle with deadly disease cancer.

The diva used to possess a very strong connection of heart with his father and the tatto inked on her right wrist 'Daddy’s li'l girl' is the proof.

However, its been four years since she has lost the fisrt hero of her life and achieved tremendous success all over the world with his unconditional love and blessings. Earlier, on the occasion of the 64th National Film Awards, Priyanka has also dedicated her award winning film 'Ventilator' to her father.

On the work front, the 'Barfi' actress is currently busy shooting her another upcoming venture 'Gustakhiyan'.

Also starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead the 'Bhansali' project is expected to release in 2018.

Besides some of her Bollywood projects the diva is also working on her home production namely Purple Pebble Pictures banner. The production aims to produce a series of content driven movies which will mainly focus on exploring the regional film market all over the country.
