Raksha Bandhan 2017: Here is how B-town stars celebrate the auspicious day with siblings

New Delhi:

While whole India is totally engrossed celebrating Raksha Bandhan, the festival of the beautiful bond between brother and sister, celebrities around the country have also managed time from their long tiring schedule to spend a gala time with their beautiful siblings.

From B-town diva Shraddha Kapoor to fitness freak Akshay Kumar, a bunch of Bollywood celebs have shared some of their beautiful moments with sweet and loving siblings.

Moreover, this year the auspicious day is being shrouded by the lunar eclipse, which is considered ominous in Hindu religion.

The ritual is observed on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Shravan, on which sisters tie the sacred Rakhi string on their brother's wrists, and pray for their long lives. In turn, the brother vows to protect her sister any trouble that comes her way and gifts her a loving present.

Now let's have a look at how Bollywood celebs have beautifully planned and arranged to celebrate the auspicious day with their loving siblings.

Dear Sahaj and Shivang, I don't know when the both of you grew up. Weren't you tiny babies in my arms just yesterday? I don't know when it changed from me taking care of you to you taking care of me. I don't know when you became my friends. I will never know, and I don't need to. I just know one thing - that my life is nothing without both of you. I thank god everyday that he gave me 2 perfect, kind gentlemen as brothers, who will never break my heart. I am amazed at how you live your lives and you inspire me to better mine. There will come a day when I get married and have kids of my own with another man, but you will always be my first loves ❤️ Happy Rakhi Harami's !! Now send me gifts 😜 @thisissahajchopra @shivangchopra99
