Ranveer Singh receives head injury on set of 'Padmavati', proves dedication to work yet another time

B-town actor Ranveer Singh who is at present busy shooting Sanjay Leela Bhanshali's upcoming period drama 'Padmavati' got injured on his head while shooting the climax scene of the same.

Ranveer who is already known for his utmost dedication for each and every character has proved the point yet another time.

Despite immediate need of medical attention the Bajirao of Bollywood continued to shoot for the scene.

He was so into his character that ded not even realise the depth of his injury.

It is only after the cut the cast and crew realised the seriousness of the injury while the actor was bleeding badly from the head.

Sorces close to the film suggest that "Ranveer hurt himself on the head while shooting for the film during a particular take but he was so engrossed in the performance that he did not realise it till the 'cut' was announced".

"Ranveer received initial first aid on the set and was rushed immediately to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. He completed the basic treatment and returned to the film’s set to complete his portions of the shoot. Rather than letting his injury slow him down or impact the shoot, Ranveer completed the day’s work. He requires stitches on the head for which he visited the doctor late Friday evening", sources stated further.

While Alauddin Khilji, the role played by Ranveer is one of the most important characters of the movie, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor will also be seen featuring two another leads.

Based on the life of queen Padmavati the movie is expected to hit the box office on 17th November 2017.
