Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is all set to make her big Hollywood debut with 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' opposit Vin Diesel.
While the diva is quite thrilled about her international venture, Deepika's beau Ranveer is also grinning ear to ear.
Expressing his feeling about Padukone's Hollywood debut, Ranveer stated that it is a proud moment for him as his lady love is representing India internationally.
Ranveer who had attended the special premiere of the 'xXx' on Thursday, was all praises for Deepika.
"It is a proud moment for me. I am very excited about the night. It is a big Hollywood film, we have some special guests in the city. It is the premiere of 'xXx', starring Deepika, who is a special co-actor of mine and I am looking forward to watching the movie," he told reporters.
"Deepika is a gifted actor and an amazing movie star, someone whom I really admire. I am extremely proud of her," Ranveer added.
Interestingly, this is the first time Ranveer has opened up about Deepika's international venture.
The Bajirao Mastani actor also spoke about Vin and Deepika's onscreen chemistry, and said, "The chemistry looks good in the promos, but rest I can only say after watching the movie."
The Indian premiere of 'xXx' was graced by Bollywood bigwigs like Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Sudhir Mishra, Irrfan Khan and Ranveer.
'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' happens to be the third instalment of the popular 'xXx' series and also stars Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose and Samuel L Jackson. The movie is hitting the theatres in India on Friday, a week before its US release.
