Well-known cinematographer W B Rao breathed his last on Tuesday at Bhartiya Arogya Nidhi Hospital. Reportedly, he was admitted in the ICU lately owing to critical health conditions.
Actor-host Naved Jafri took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to offer his condolences. He wrote, "Legendary craftsman of indian cinema passes away, ace cinematographer WB Rao sahib has left us, May his soul rest in peace, may the almighty give strength and patience to the family, deepest condolences."Â

Filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan mourned Rao's death.
"W.B. Rao, the much respected and revered cinematographer is no more. 'Hum', 'Khuda Gawah' and 'Rangeela' were my personal favourites," Sivan tweeted.

Rao, who has been associated with the Bollywood industry for over four decades, is known for his work in Aamir Khan's Rangeela and Salman Khan's Judwaa along with Hum, Khuda Gawah, Dhadkan etc.
