Salman Khan's Tubelight will release on the festive occasion of Eid, that is, on Friday June 23. And in all the major cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, etc., advanced booking for 'Tubelight' has now started. The film is expected to have almost 3000 screens in India and around 300 screens in US.
Tubelight is the only release this week so it will have 18 shows a day at multiplexes of the major cities. The rates for the tickets will be 200-500 which is the normal rate for Khan film.
The shows are already on a ‘filling fast’ mode for day one, in particular single screens such as the famed Gaiety/Galaxy in Bandra.
Tubelight is set amidst the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China War. It is adapted from American film Little Boy. It is based on the emotional journey of Laxman who is looking for his brother after the end of the war. Chinese actress Zhu Zhu will make debut with this film.
