It's just a month left for the release of Salman Khan's upcoming movie 'Tubelight' and movie is already hitting the headlines. Indeed, the audience has high expectations from the movie, which will be Salman's first release of the year. While we are still waiting for the movie to hit the theatres, there is one Khan who has watched the movie before release and has even given his review has well.
We are talking about Salman's father Salim Khan who saw the raw version of 'Tubelight'. The renowned scriptwriter is all praises for the movie and said that is a nice movie. Salim also lauded son Salman saying he has performed well in 'Tubelight'.
"Tubelight is a very nice film. I have seen it in its raw form — na uska background music tha, na uski mixing hui thi, so I hadn’t seen the finished product, but whatever I saw, was very good. I have seen many films of that genre and subject, main ek andaza kar sakta hoon finished product kya hoga and I can say ki bahut achchi film hai," Salim told a web portal.
Khan also said that one can't compare Salman's performance in 'Tubelight' with that to 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Sultan'. "Salman has done some very good work in Bajrangi Bhaijan and Sultan. Now, in Tubelight also he has performed well, but you can’t compare these three," Salim added.
Helmed by Kabir Khan, 'Tubelight' is said to be based on the backdrop of 1962 Indo-Sino war. The movie also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, Sohail Khan, child actor Matin Rey Tangu along with Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo. 'Tubelight' is slated to release on June 25.
