New Delhi:
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie 'Raees' has found itself in troubled waters again after Shiv Sena's Chhattisgarh unit reportedly threatened one of its distributor against screening the flick.
Akshaye Rathi, a leading film distributor, took to Twitter to share the image of a letter reportedly sent by party's Chhattisgarh unit.Â
In the letter, a party leader has warned distributors of dire consequences if they go ahead with the film's release on January 25.
The film also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.Â
In a series of tweets, Rathi said that he has received a letter which has warned him not to screen the Rahul Dholakia-directed movie.Â
The distributor also tagged Aaditya Thackeray, who is the head of Yuva Sena, a youth wing of Shiv Sena.Â
Addressing Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh, he wrote, "@drramansingh ji & @CGAbhishekSingh, Please look into this to let law & order prevail in #Chhattisgarh. #Raees @ChhattisgarhCMO."Â
