B-town dancing sensation Shahid Kapoor who has been hitting headlines ever since he has bagged the top acting award for his role in drugs-themed drama 'Udta Punjab' at the 18th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, is under spotlight yet another time. Speculations were high that after 'Padmavati' the 'Rangoon' star is all set to be featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming venture 'Tuesdays and Fridays', a light-hearted romantic comedy.
But rubbishing all those rumours the 'Udta Punjab' actor has said, "I have not signed anything after ‘Padmavati’ and it isn’t a thing to worry about. You should only worry when you are not doing a good film. It’s ok to wait and do good movies. I want to be associated with films that have good content and are entertaining at the same time."
Being asked about the reports of signing 'Tuesdays and Fridays' he stated, "I read about it. But I haven’t signed anything after ‘Padmavati’. So wait for an (official) announcement."
On the workfront, Shahid Kapoor who is at present gearing up for her forthcoming release 'Padmavati', will be seen playing the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in the movie.
Also starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Sing in the lead, the period drama is scheduled to release on 17th November 2017.
