New Delhi:

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is all pleased and gearing up to watch her B-town buddies Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra on the silver screen together in their forthcoming flick 'Aashiqui 3'. Shraddha, who had proved her proficiency in acting in the second installment of the movie, believes that, both Alia and Sidharth are going to rock in the third sequel to the venture.

"I think it's great, it's amazing. Sidharth and Alia confirmed... And it will be fabulous," Shraddha was quoted while interacting with PTI.

'Aashiqui 3' has also been officially confirmed by both producers Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar recently. They have also announced Alia and Sidharth's participation the movie.

Being asked about her absence in the third installment of the movie Shraddha said, "I feel it would not be possible to be part of 'Aashiqui 3'. I think it was pretty much the end of Rahul (played by Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Aarohi's story. When he passes away, we culminate Aarohi's story there."

"It did not make sense for us to be cast. It's amazing they are continuing with it and both the films 'Aashiqui' and 'Aashiqui 2' touched so many hearts and I am sure the third one will also do," the 'Ek Villain' actress was quoted further.

On the work front, Shraddha is at present gearing up for her upcoming release 'Haseena: Queen Of Mumbai'. The movie, helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, happens to be a biopic on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar.

Also starring Shraddha's real brother Siddhanth Kapoor in the role of Dawood, the biographical crime film is slated to hit the screens on September 22, 2017.

This is the first time the brother-sister duo will be sharing the screen space together and the two are pretty much excited about it.

Interestingly, Haseena: Queen Of Mumbai will also mark Shraddha Kapoor’s first female protagonist film. She was last seen opposite Arjun Kapoor in their recent release 'Half Girlfriend'.
