After the much talked about wedding of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, B-town is gearing up for another big fat wedding in the tinselvile. We are talking about Sonam Kapoor who is all set to tie the knot with beau Anand Ahuja.
According to the media reports, the couple will be entering the nuptial bond in June this year. “They are planning a June wedding for Sonam and her boyfriend Anand Ahuja,” says a family friend was reportedly quoted saying to Deccan Chronicle.
Reportedly the couple will be having a private ceremony before the wedding where they will exchange the rings.
Interestingly, Sonam and Anand have been dating each other for a while now, however, they haven't made their relationship public so far.
Talking about the same, the family friend further added, "Sonam is very sure of her feelings for Anand. He’s a very sorted boy and cares deeply for her. Although Anil was initially unsure about Anand, like all fathers are about their daughters’ boyfriends, over time, Anil and his wife Sunita have accepted Anand as part of their family. Sonam’s brother Harshvardhan is also very comfortable in his company."
Reportedly, the families are yet to decide whether it will be a destination wedding or a big fat Punjabi wedding for Sonam and Anand.
Interestingly, there were reports that the couple will be getting married in April this year. But looks like Sonam-Anand are taking some more time to prepare for their D-Day.
On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be seen in her sister Rhea's upcoming production Veere Di Wedding. Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in lead roles. Veere Di Wedding is slated to release on June 1 this year.
