It's raining weddings in tinselvile lately as several renowned divas have entered the nuptial bond including Bharti Singh, Anushka Sharma, Aashka Goradia etc.
And now the recent one to join the league is Bollywood actress Surveen Chawla who has tied the knot with beau Akshay Thakker.
While it was a hush-hush wedding, the announcement was made by the new bride herself on micro-blogging site Twitter as she shared a picture of herself with hubby Akshay.
Surveen captioned the image as, "And just like that, right in the middle of an extra-ordinary life, love gave us a fairy tale??... #Married #bliss #EternalLove #GiveUsYourLove&Blessings."

Indeed, her wedding came as a pleasant surprise for everyone. However, according to the media reports, the couple took the nuptial vows in 2015 itself but chose to stay mum about it.
"Surveen met Akshay through a common friend in 2013 and soon after, they fell in love. They got married in 2015, with only family and a handful of industry friends in attendance. It was Surveen's dream to have a white wedding in a chapel located in a picturesque castle and Italy seemed like an apt choice. The couple was waiting for the right time to announce the wedding and had planned to do it in January 2018," a source reportedly told Pinkvilla.
On the work front, Surveen Chawla will be next seen in Ekta Kapoor's web series titled Haq Se opposite Rajeev Khandelwal.
