Kriti Sanon has come out in support of rumored beau Sushant Singh Rajput over his media controversy and stated that the actor hasn't been a short-tempered person. It was reported that the 'Kai Po Che' actor was caught in a verbal spat with a journalist during the trailer launch of his upcoming movie 'Raabta'.
The media reports suggested that Sushant lost his temper when he was asked about Pakistan's decision to execute Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav on charges of spying. He again reportedly lost his cool when journalists asked about plagiarism charges against 'Raabta' by producers of Telugu film 'Magadheera'.
However, contrary to the reports, Kriti stated that it's unfortunate that things have been taken in a wrong way.
"It is strange. I have known him during the filming of 'Raabta' and that time 'M S Dhoni: The Untold Story' had not released. I have seen him before and after the release of 'M S Dhoni..', he has been the same."
"It's unfortunate that things have been taken in a wrong way. I have known him as a person and he is not short tempered at all," Kriti said. The actress further says in both the incidences involving Sushant, things were taken in a different way.
"When he said that he doesn't know anything (referring to Kulbhushan Jadhav) doesn't mean putting off anger. It is rather being confident. I don't know what went wrong... I think things were taken in a different way," she said.
On the work front, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon are currently busy promoting their upcoming movie 'Raabta'. The couple, who is said to be dating each other, will be sharing the screen space for the first time. Helmed by Dinesh Vijan, 'Raabta' is slated to release on June 9.
