'The Ghazi Attack' trailer: Rana Daggubatti, Kay Kay Menon bring the arousing tale of a lesser known India-Pakistan war

After teasing the audience with intriguing poster, the makers have finally unveiled the enthralling tailer of the much awaited 'The Ghazi attack'.

Starring Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon and Tapsee Pannu, the movie happens to be India's first war at sea film.

While most of the wars fought between India and Pakistan, have got the media attention, 'The Ghazi Attack' narrates the story of unsung heroes of a lesser known war between the two countries that was fought under the water.

Producer Karan Johar took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to unveil the trailer. 

He wrote, "Here it is....the underwater WAR you did NOT know  about.... #TheGhaziAttack ....@dharmamovies #AAFilms".

 

The intriguing trailer, which starts with Amitabh Bachchan's powerful voice in the background, takes you back to the war time of 1971, when Pakistani submarine PNS Ghazi when it ventured into Indian waters in order to destroy INS Vikrant and conquer the Vishakapatnam port.

It focuses on the patriotism of the Indian Naval personnels aboard the Indian submarine S-21 had remained underwater for 18 days.

Rana and Menon will be see playing the roles of Indian Naval officers and their intense acting prowess does send a chill down one's spine.

Besides, one will also see late actor Om Puri in the role of a Indian Navy officer making it one of its last contributions to Indian Cinema.

Indeed, this gripping trailer has raised the curiosity amongst the audience for the movie.

Only time will reveal, if it will be able to live up to the audience's expectations.

Helmed by Sankalp Reddy, 'The Ghazi Attack' will hit the screens on February 17.
