New Delhi:
Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar has courted controversy when Vinod Dua, a renowned journalist, and father of Mallika Dua slammed him for making inappropriate comments on her daughter.
So the whole ugly spat started when the makers of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge decided to remove Zakir Hussain, Mallika Dua and Hussain Dalal as the judges of the stand-up comedy reality show with Bollywood celebrities Shreyas Talpade and Sajid Khan.
According to some media sources, the decision has been taken after consulting Akshay Kumar.
But it seems this decision has dragged Bollywood action hero in a hot controversy.
Vinod Dua shared a video clip from one of the episodes on Facebook where Akshay Kumar passed an inappropriate remark on his daughter Mallika Dua. However, that segment was not aired.
Vikas Dua wrote, "I am going to screw this cretin Akshay Kumar for telling his co-worker Mallika Dua that "aap bell bajao main aap ko bajata hun" at 5:26. This is his sense of humour and language. Star Plus. Wake up."
Unacceptable behaviour! Male actors still get away with making sexually colored remarks under the guise of ‘comedy’. #MeToo @MallikaDua pic.twitter.com/IwZLS9XQMB

Mallika Dua also added that "So, I want humor to be limitless. I also don't want to be uncomfortable at my workplace. The lines are blurred."
Vinod Dua also asked for an apology from Akshay Kumar for his vulgar comments on her daughter.
This is not all, Akshay Kumar's fan awfully struck back, took a jibe at Vinod Dua and Mallika Dua and tweeted a snippet from Mallika Dua's show AIB.
Not that I've slightest concern for Akshay Kumar, but in current Mallika Dua controversy, I don't think "bajao" had any sexual undertones.

After that, Mallika Dua made her profile private and Vinod Dua also deleted the post.
