Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was hospitalised on Wednesday after he complained of health issues. Reportedly, Kumar was rushed to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital after suffering from dehydration.
According to the media reports, Dilip was admitted to the hospital in the noon after which several tests were conducted on him. He was accompanied by wife Saira Banu.
The media reports suggests that he is said to be stable now.
"He was admitted with dehydration. He is stable," Ravishankar, CEO of the facility at Bandra West, told IANS.
Reportedly, Dilip had been suffering from fever for two days now.
Notably, the veteran actor, who is 94 years of age, was hospitalised in Lilavati hospital after he complained of swelling in his right leg. Dilip even shared pictures of himself from the hospital on micro-blogging site Twitter to assure his fans about his well being.
Dilip, who is known as the tragedy king of Bollywood was last seen in 1998 release 'Qila' and was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
