New Delhi:
Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has walked out of 'Aami', which was a biopic on feminist poet Kamala Surayya aka Madhavikutty.
'Aami' was being directed by Malayalam director Kamal and Vidya was said to be portraying Surayya in the movie.
It was reported that she was quite excited about her role in 'Aami'
But as per the recent media reports, Vidya chose to opt of 'Aami', owing to the creative differences with the makers.
“She wanted some changes in the script and the final draft given to her didn’t excite her. In fact, she wanted to spend more time with the director and the writer to get into the skin of her character and that didn’t happen,” a source reportedly told an entertainment portal.

Confirming the news Vidya Balan's spokesperson stated, "Vidya respects the director and the team working on the film. However, the director and she had different very approaches to the film. So, she opted out of the film in the most amicable and professional manner. Any other reasons cited are untrue."
Well, Vidya's exit has indeed raised a problem for the makers.
We wonder who will be replacing Vidya Balan in 'Aami'.
