New Delhi:

Singer and pop star Britney Spears' arrival in Israel has led to a commotion. It was the superstar's first visit to the country and reports claimed that she was forced to skip dinner with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as her followers mobbed her during a visit to the historical site of Western Wall.

The situation turned worse and security were eventually forced to whisk her away. Britney arrived in Israel on Sunday, on 2 July, 2017 and the country's Labour Party cancelled planned elections on account of her concert at Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park on Monday night.

The concert was attended by 50,000 of her fans. Spears recently rubbished claims that she lip-syncs throughout her shows. She insisted that she has to mix her own voice with some sort of playback singing due to her energy-sapping dance routines.
