The complete season of the most popular American fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones season 7 was illegally watched over one billion times, according to piracy analysis company Muso.

Although an average of 31 million people legally watched the seventh season of Game of Thrones-but this fade out in comparison to the number of times it has been pirated

Game of Thrones is an adaptation of "A Song of Ice and Fire" book by George R.R.Martin. The drama series deal with court intrigue, fantasy wars, and dragons.

This is not the first time GoT appeared on the list, it is always heavily pirated and continuously appearing at the top of "most-pirated" lists.

Currently, Game of Thrones is the most popular series on the planet which drives the viewers to download or view illegally.

The seventh season of Drama series finished at the end of August and broke new records for the show for viewing figures. That's why pirates was keen to get in on the action too.

And it is interesting to note that, episode six was watched illegally more times (184 million) than the finale, episode seven (143 million)- because it leaked out nearly a week before its air date.
