Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson, has died at the age of 89, according to reports.
The architect of the Jackson 5, died early Wednesday morning in Los Angeles reportedly following a battle with cancer, sources said.
Jackson who helped shepherd his children including Michael and Janet to worldwide fame, was hospitalised in the final stages of terminal cancer, earlier this week.

Joe Jackson had been battling cancer and but could not be treated because of his age.
