Miranda Lambert did it again! She never disappoints, a remark often dropped by her fans, proved true yet again as she won the 2018 ACM Awards for Song of the Year and the Best Female Vocalist for the consecutive ninth time.
Miranda carried the weight of her wings beautifully as she won her ninth straight ACM Female Vocalist of the Year and the Song of the Year for her hit ‘Tin Man’.
Receiving the awards, the 34-year-old country artiste thanked her fans for sharing her broken heart from her split with her former husband Blake Shelton and a recent one- split from her ex-boyfriend Anderson East after over two years.
“Thank you guys so much for sharing my broken heart with me,” Lambert said in her acceptance speech while receiving the award.
Her most beautiful single Tin Man was written after her bitter divorce from Blake in 2015 and is featured in her latest album – The Weight of These Wings.’ The album holds record 24 songs.
With her ACM 2018 wins, the Vice hitmaker became the most awarded artiste in the history of ACM Awards.
Lauren Alaina won New Female Vocalist of the Year and Chris Stapleton won Best Male Vocalist of the Year Award.
