Los Angeles:
The release date of 'Insidious Chapter 4' gets postponed to January 5, 2018 though the movie was expecting to be released on October 20, 2017.
'Insidious 4' original slot, meanwhile, has now been occupied by 'Half to Death', reported Ace Showbiz.
The horror comedy film centers on a college student who investigates her own murder in order she can find her killer.
Both "Insidious 4" and "Half to Death" come from Jason Blums Blumhouse production company, which previously nailed it with "The Purge" and "Get Out".
'Insidious 4' will see the return of Lin Shaye as Dr. Elise Rainier. Leigh Whannel is set to pen the script, with Blum, Oren Peli and James Wan producing.
The movie will be directed by Adam Robitel, who previously directed 'The Taking of Deborah Logan'.
