Music icon Lionel Richie is reportedly in talks to feature as one of the judges on the reboot of 'American Idol'.
The 68-year-old musician secretly met the producers of the singing reality TV show last week and may join the revival season, production sources told TMZ.
The insiders said 'American Idol' executives had a chat with the 'Hello' singer for two hours. They seemed interested in his coming on board and think he would be a great addition to the show.
The producers added will not negotiate with Richie until Ryan Seacrest's hosting deal is done. 'Bon Appetit' singer Katy Perry has already been confirmed as one of the three names on the jury.
