New Delhi:

Just two days to go for 68th Republic Day and Bollywood is witnessing the release of two biggest movies of 2017. It's a clash of the titans between Shah Rukh Khan's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil.

Both the megastar's movie looks promising and will look to taken advantage of the extended weekend with a Wednesday release.

Looking at the stardom of both the star, it will be interesting to see that which movie out victorious in terms of collections at the Box Office. Going on to critics review, it seems like Hrithik's Kaabil is doing better with positive reviews and good word of mouth. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in the lead, Kaabil is a revenge drama, in which both the lead actors are playing the role of a specially challenged couple who cannot see. The movie also stars brothers duo of Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy, playing the role of antagonist.

The trailer of the film was interesting as it depicted Kaabil to be movie heavily driven by emotions and intense drama. The film also packs a punch with some high-action stunts by Hrithik Roshan.

Here are reviews of the film:

Mumbai Mirror: The plot, though not entirely original, offers enough scope for experimentation and the money surely lies in how well and brutally our lead manages to exact his vengeance. While this also lends itself to an underdog story — as you're likely to be sympathetic towards the lead's vulnerable state — it also packs in an element of surprise as one could assume that his disability would undermine his ability to inflict much harm. Rating: 3.5/5

Hindustan Times:  It is Hrithik’s film from the word go. He is there in almost every scene, and he seems to be in control of the proceedings. As a person who has suffered and is holding himself back from crying, he has done fairly well. Yami Gautam, like Ronit Roy, is already typecast as a wife/lover who leaves her partner midway.Barring the regular approach to filmmaking, Kaabil embellishes Hrithik credential as a fine action hero. Rating: 3/5

Firstpost: It’s a far more engaging film with an earnest performance by Hrithik Roshan. Yami Gautam is a weak link, simply smiling delightedly throughout until she becomes a hapless victim and buckles, but her plight does not touch you the way Roshan’s grief does. Of all the times he has played someone with a physical or mental disability (Guzaarish, Koi Mil Gaya), this is Roshan’s most measured interpretation. While the Ronit Roy, Rohit Roy and Girish Kulkarni play to the stereotype, Narendra Jha plays it straight as the poker-faced inspector. Rating: 3/5

Indian Express: Two strands knit Kaabil. One is the romance between two people who cannot see. Because apart from the leading man, there is not one thing to keep us with the film.Hrithik does all the heavy lifting and remains the only bright spot in this dispirited mess of a movie. He still has the moves. What he needs is a plot.Yami Gautam’s act includes a permanent unblinking wide-eyed stare. Rohit and Ronit Roy are the baddies, and both come off as they have been instructed to: the former a goonda, the latter a grim, glowering local heavyweight.Rating: 1.5/5
