Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has announced the name of her upcoming Marathi venture based on a true story. The Baajirao Mastani star, who will produce the film under home banner Purple Pebble Pictures, took to Twitter to reveal that the film has been titled Paani.
Paani will be Priyanka’s third Marathi film after Ventilator, Kay Re Rascalaa and Firebrand. The inspirational story is said to focus on the issue of water scarcity, as per media reports. The team will soon start shooting for the film.
The Fashion actress welcomed on-board Adinath Kothare as the director on Twitter.

Priyanka Chopra will soon make a comeback to Hindi films with the much-awaited Bharat. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial will see the Dostana actress reunite with her Mujhse Shaadi Karogi co-star Salman Khan.
