New Delhi :

Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 has been successful in winning the hearts of the people ever since it was launched on Sony Entertainment Television. The Amitabh Bachchan hosted show has been leading the rating charts for six consecutive weeks.

The informative content has done wonders for the show. The popular reality show will soon bid adieu to the viewers and telecast its finale episode. The last few episodes have been a complete treat watch. And the 40th episode was no different.

Big B started the episode by telling the audience about 'Govardhan puja' and how the festival is important for the farmers of our country.

The rollover contestant from the previous episode, Sunil Kumar once again graced the hot seat. The Orissa based contestant took home a prize money of Rs. 50 lakhs.

Sunil played the game quite wisely and was just one question away from winning Rs. 1 crore. He quit the game as he was not sure of the correct answer.

Fans of KBC 9 literally wait for Friday's episode because of the 'Nayi chah, nayi rah' segment. Under this segment people who have made a change to the society are called to grace the hot seat.

The special guest for episode 40 was Chetna Gala Sinha, who is the founder of  Mann Deshi organisation. The Mumbai based social activist has contributed her bit towards uplifting the status of women in the rural belt of Maharashtra.

Big B welcomed on the sets, talented actor  Ayushmann Khurrana who was there to support Chetna. Chetna ended up winning Rs. 50 lakhs with the assistance of the Vicky Donor actor.

The memorable episode also saw Ayushmann clicking a selfie with the Deewar actor.
