Amitabh Bachchan hosted 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' season nine has topped the charts in the latest set of BARC ratings. The episode featuring Super 30 founder Anand Kumar on the hot seat has proved to be a big hit amongst television viewers.Â
The episode which was telecasted on Sony Entertainment Television on September 2 managed to get 6,798,000 impressions in terms of TRPs, as per Shashi Shekhar, a senior official of the show's production team.
This particular episode has left behind all the other daily soaps and reality shows in terms of numbers.Â
The quiz based show is the number one programme across all the channels in week 36 on the basis of the average rating of all the original airings.Â
Anand Kumar was invited as a special guest on the show and ended up winning Rs 25 lakhs by answering seven questions. The Super 30 founder was accompanied by his former student Anup Kumar.  Â

Queen director Vikas Bahl is all set to make a biopic based on the life of Anand Kumar. Media reports suggest Hrithik Roshan will be playing the lead role.Â
