Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 has managed to keep the viewers hooked with its informative and engaging content.  The popular reality show has been topping the rating charts for six weeks in a row.  

Big B's charm and camaraderie with the contestants has made the show a complete delight to watch. Weekdays 9-10:30 pm slot has got more interesting all thanks to KBC. 

But there is some not so good news for the fans of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The quiz based show is all set to go off air in the upcoming days. The show was always meant to be a finite series and will soon air its finale episode. 

Kaun Banega Crorepati's latest season was launched on August 28 and became an instant success. KBC returned to the small screens after a gap of three years but despite this, ended up winning the hearts of the fans. The show's success has taken the channel to numero uno spot in the list of top channels.

Sony Entertainment channel is all set to replace the reality show with two new daily soaps Ek Deewana Tha and Haasil. Ek Deewana Tha, a dark romantic show stars Namik Paul, Donal Bisht and Vikram Singh Chauhan in the lead roles. 

Haasil, a thriller, is being helmed by Siddharth P Malhotra who has several hit shows to his credit. It stars Vatsal Seth, Zayed Khan and Nikita Dutta. Interestingly, the show marks the telly debut of Bollywood actor Zayed Khan. 

Both the shows are like a whiff of fresh air and seem different than the run-of-the-mill daily soaps. 

One thing is for sure. The fans of Kaun Banega Crorepati will definitely miss their favourite show.
