Beyhadh actor Piyush Sahdev, who was recently arrested on rape charges after an 23-year aspiring actress filed an FIR against him. As per latest reports by Telly Chakkar, the actor has now been found guilty on the rape charges as per his medical reports.
Recently, Piyush’s bail application was also rejected by the court after the actor was shifted to Arthur Road Jail.
In a talk with Telly Chakkar, Senior Inspector, Versova Police Station said, “He is still in jail and the charge-sheet is being prepared in the case; until then he is being kept in judicial custody and the investigation is going on alongside’’.
As per Hindustan Times reports, ‘’The actor had met the woman through mutual friends and soon moved in with her; he then proposed marriage to her after two months of their relationship. When the woman found some objectionable photographs of him with another girl, they had a nasty fight and the actor apparently refused to marry her. The woman then approached the police on November 20 and filed a rape case against him’’.
Piyush’s sister and Secret Superstar actress Meher Vij told Times of India, “Piyush and I haven’t been in touch at all ever since he got married. His wife had some issues so I chose to back off. Whatever contact we have had, has been only through our father’’.
Apart from Beyhadh, Piyush Sahdev has also worked in serials like Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.
