Television actress Saumya Tandon, who is seen on SAB TV's 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai', came across a rather unpleasant incident after she got robbed during her holiday in Istanbul. According to the media reports, the actress was holidaying in the country along with her hubby Saurabh Devendra Singh at the time of the incident and was robbed off a thousand euros which makes up to Rs 60 thousand.
Reportedly, Saumya was during a cab ride in Turkey, when the cab driver started screaming at her. He created a panic situation that he has to rush and made her rush for a change.
As per a report published in Pinkvilla, "Suddenly, he stopped the car in the middle of the road and that's when Saumya realized that he hadn't even started the meter. As soon as Saumya gave him euros, he said that they were 'wrong money' which got Saumya perplexed as both Euros an Lira, as a currency work in Turkey. As soon as Saumya opened her purse that had euros, the cabbie put his hand in the purse and distracted her by screaming and honking. When he left, Saumya checked her purse and realized that a thousand euros were stolen".
Indeed, the incident left Saumya Tandon in a state of shock. According to the media reports, the 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai' soon filed the report with the local police and hopes that the culprit is caught soon.
