Earlier this year, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ was in talks because of its mid-air-fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, leading to departure of half of its star cast. Since then, the comedy show has been struggling to get decent ratings.
Comedian Bharti Singh aka Lali who surprised everyone after she teamed up with Kapil over Krushna. Bharti, who came as a sign of relief for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and channel as well, may soon leave the show for some other project, which will be on-air from Mid-August.
As per Bharti’s interview to the leading daily, she said, "I am on The Kapil Sharma Show till my other show Comedy Dangal doesn't go on-air. I had signed Comedy Dangal first and was later approached for The Kapil Sharma Show’’.
Bharti says that she had already informed Kapil about her upcoming project ‘Comedy Dangal’ before taking up his show. She further added by saying that after completing 6 episodes, she has been receiving appreciation for the show and wouldn’t have quit TKSS, if would have not signed ‘Comedy Dangal’.
Confirming to shoot her last episode for TKSS, she said, ‘’We will be shooting with Shah Rukh Khan on 30th of this month for Harry Met Sejal’’.
In the new show ‘Comedy Dangal’, Bharti will be seen judging alongside music composer Anu Malik. The show is rumoured to be feature a battle between stand-up and skit comedy.
