Television couple Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim aka Simar and Prem from Sasural Simar are all set to tie the knot on February 22. 

While the fans are ecstatic about the couple's wedding, Dipika-Shoiab's wedding celebrations have begun with haldi ceremony which was held in Shoaib's hometown in Bhopal. 

The wedding festivities begun on Tuesday and soon the social media was flooded with pics from the couple's haldi and kalire ceremony.

Bride-to-be Dipika chose to wear a white-yellow suit with traditional yellow dupatta for the ceremony. Besides the groom-to-be Shoaib was seen wearing a blue denim paired with white vest.

While the haldi was applied on both bride-groom, happy bride Dipika was also made to wear kalire post the haldi ceremony.

Indeed, the couple is enjoying every bit of their wedding festivities, they even posed happily with friends and family during the ceremony.
Besides both Dipika and Shoaib have been sharing pics from their pre-wedding shoot, making their fans even more excited about their D-Day.

Talking about the couple's wedding, Deepika and Shoaib will be getting married as per traditional Muslim rituals post which they will also host a grand wedding reception in Mumbai.

“Shoaib and Dipika, both wanted a very personalised affair. Being quite private people, they chose to have the ceremonies in Bhopal to avoid the constant media attention. Also, with Shoaib’s family residing there, it helped them in organising a grand yet a close-knit wedding. Only the closest of the friends have been invited but the rest would get to wish the newlyweds in a reception in Mumbai, the dates of which haven’t been fixed yet,” a source reportedly told Indian Express.
