Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular shows on the small screen. The sitcom has been entertaining the masses with its rib-tickling comedy since July 2008.
The Sony SAB show features Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani in the respective roles of Jethalal Champaklal Gada and Dayaben Gada. Fans simply love the cute fun-banter between Jethalal and Daya.
Disha who is known for her iconic one-liner- ‘’Hey Maa, Mataji’’ and garba dance from the show, has taken a maternity break. Fans have been missing the talented actress and wish to see her back as the lovable Daya.
For all those fans, we have some blockbuster news.
Disha Vakani who is currently enjoying motherhood will soon be back on the show, as per a Tellychakkar report. The makers of the show have planned a new track which will mark her return, suggested the report.
The makers will introduce a track where Jethalal and Daya will revive their good old memories on TMKOC. ‘’The on-screen couple will talk about their life as teenagers and the fun they had in childhood’’, as per the report.
The Tellychakkar report added that the sequences featuring Disha Vakani were shot, but they will be used in the upcoming episodes.
Grapevines were earlier buzzing with the rumours that Disha had quit the popular show. However, a source told Tellychakkar that since her child is only few months old, she might take some time to return back to the award-winning show.
One thing is for sure, all the fans of Dayaben will be elated to see her back on their television screens.
