Anas Rashid has all the reasons to feel on top of the world as the television actor has ditched his bachelorhood to tie the knot with fiance Heena Iqbal. The couple took the nuptial vows in Anas' hometown Malerkotla, Punjab.
Anas rose to fame from Star Plus' popular daily soap Diya Aur Baati Hum where he was seen playing the lead role Sooraj.
The actor married Heena as per traditional Muslim rituals.
Anas wore a white and golden sherwani for his D-day while bride Heena was dress in a pink, green and blue heavily brocaded sharara with a pink veil. She had completed her look with traditional Muslim jewellery.
In fact, the pre-wedding rituals too were celebrated in a grand way. Happy groom Anas had even shared the pictures of his haldi-mehendi ceremony on Instagram.
The Diya Aur Baati Hum chose a white kurta pyjama for the ceremony while his bride was wearing a yellow dress.
Interestingly, it is an arranged marriage for Anas who got engaged to Heena in April this year.
Talking about his wedding Anas had told Indian Express, “Everyone is really excited at home and we are all geared up with the preparation. Since the entire family is here, we planned to tie the knot in Malerkotla, and when we move to Mumbai, will organize a party there.â€
Reportedly, the couple is yet to decide their honeymoon destination. “We haven’t decided on anything yet. Post the wedding rituals, we will come back to Mumbai. We have our whole life ahead, will definitely plan something,†Anas was quoted as saying.
