Drashti Dhami is one of the most talented and sought after actresses on the small screen. The television diva, who made her way into the hearts of the audience with Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, will soon return with a new show.
Drashti, who is popularly known as small screen’s Madhubala, has been missing from the telly land, since her last show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil went off air.
Fans have been eagerly waiting to see their favourite actress back on their television sets. It seems their wish might come true soon as grapevines have been buzzing with the rumours of her return.
According to a report in Tellybuzz, the Dil Mil Gye star is in talks with renowned production house Sphere Origins for their next project on Colors channel. The romantic drama has been tentatively titled Baware Nain, added the report.
Speculations are rife that the show is based on the lines of Karan Johar’s Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna. For the uninitiated, Shakti Arora and Aham Sharma have been approached to play the main leads in the new show.
Interestingly, Drashti Dhami has previously worked with both Colors and Sphere Origins in the past. The versatile actress played the titular role in Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, one of the most popular shows on Colors.
The Jhalak Dikh Laja 6 winner also shares a close association with Sphere Origins, with whom she worked in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.
The news has definitely increased our excitement and we just can’t wait to see Drashti Dhami back on the small screen.
