Television actor Karan Mehra is over the moon these days as he is all set to welcome his first child.
Sharing his happiness about this new phase of his life, Karan admitted that it was a big surprise for him.
"I am really very happy. It was when I came out of the BB house she broke the news to me. It was a big surprise for me. We don’t plan all these things. We had anyways decided to extend our family soon and now that’s what it is all about! There were too many speculations that kept doing rounds again and again. We needed to put up the post on social media because we wanted to put the speculations to rest. And yes, we need all your good wishes for this journey," Mehra told a leading daily.

The former Bigg Boss 10 contestant even shared a love-filled picture of himself with wife Nisha Rawal on Instagram, to share the news of the beginning of this new story of their lives.
He wrote, "With the grace of God we have been able to achieve many things in life but creation of life itself is an overwhelming feeling. Here's to the beginning of another beautiful story...our pregnancy."
Earlier, Karan's wife Nisha too took it to Instagram to announce her motherhood.
She had shared a picture of herself flaunting her baby bump and requested people to maintain the pregnancy.
This will be the first child of Karan and Nisha who have been married for four years now.
