The fourth episode of Game of Thrones'season 7 has made its way online days before it will be aired on TV and mobile app Hotstar. The GOT S7E4 Spoils of War has been released by the hackers who had staged a major cyber attack on HBO a few days ago.
Reportedly the video quality of the leaked episode it not so good, but it is unlikely to stop GOT aficionados to download and watch it. According to data from 2016, Game of Thrones is the most pirated show on earth.
HBO cyber attack
Earlier this week, the network suffered a disruptive, unsettling, and disturbing cyber attack, which resulted in the theft of 1.5 TB data. The stolen data also included the scripts of HBO's megahit series Game of Thrones. The hackers had sent this information to news channels and reporters. The hack was later confirmed by HBO.
The leaked scripts have so far been correct for the three episodes already telecasted, giving rise to a huge number of script based vlogs about upcoming episodes.
The release of an entire episode is likely to hit the network hard. But it won't be for the first time. The first four episodes of the Game of Thrones were also released before the season officially premiered on television.
