All the fans of Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani, we have some blockbuster news. The two actors who created ripples with their sizzling chemistry are all set to return with a new show on the small screen.
Fans have been eagerly waiting to see their SaRun together and it seems their wish has finally come true. Barun and Sanaya were part of the hit show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, which ended in 2012.
The two actors floored the audience with their terrific chemistry and became one of the most popular on-screen couples on Indian television. The TRPs of the show sky-rocketed, all thanks to the romantic scenes between the couple.
Television viewers still remember the Star Plus for the iconic theme song, ‘Rabba Ve’.
Sanaya and Barun played the respective roles of Khushi Kumari Gupta and Arnav Singh Raizada in the romantic drama. Interestingly, the fans gave the adorable couple the moniker- ‘ArShi’.
The channel airing the show also introduced a new show -Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon- Ek Jashn, featuring the two actors, on its digital platform.
There were reports that Sanaya would play the lead opposite Barun in the third part of the Iss Pyaar Ko series. However, those speculations were squashed when Shivani Tomar was brought on-board.
Sources suggest that Barun and Sanaya might star in a show on a recently launched channel. ''The channel which was launched in February is struggling to bring in numbers and hence it has decided to approach Sanaya and Barun for a romantic drama’’, a source told News Nation.
''Things are at an nascent stage and the picture will be clear within the next few weeks’’, the source added.
