New Delhi:

Kapil Sharma's popular comedy show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' is once again hitting the headlines as the show is all set to get a new member in its team. According to the media reports, television actress Supriya Shukla has been roped to be a part of TKSS. The actress is currently seen on Zee Tv's popular daily soap 'Kumkum Bhagya' where she plays the role of lead actress Sriti Jha's mother. Reportedly, Shukla will be seen replacing Upasana Singh, who had recently left the show.

Talking about her entrance in TKSS, Supriya stated she was a little nervous about doing the comedy show, given that she hasn't tried her hands on comedy ever.

"I was a bit nervous since this happens to be my first stint with comedy. However, Kapil and his team were really supportive. I will be bringing in the Kanpur flavour, and have worked hard along with the writers of the show on the lingo as well,” Supriya reportedly told an entertainment portal.

As per the media reports, this new addition was made after several members from 'The Kapil Sharma Show' walked out lately. The show grabbed a lot of negative publicity owing to the much hyped tussle between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover.

This was not all.

'The Kapil Sharma Show' even witnessed a significant fall in its TRPs and there were reports that the makers might pull down the show. Only time will reveal if this new addition in team of TKSS will do wonders for the show.
